Save The Date Annual Dinner 2016

…helping children reclaim their childhoods

January 2016

Dear Friends of PfP,

It’s that time of year again.  If you’re anywhere near Philly, mark your calendars for our annual dinner, the evening of SATURDAY, APRIL 2, 2016

We are so excited about this fundraiser, as it promises to be a spectacular evening. For starters, back by popular demand, both Remi Kanazi and Farah Siraj will join us!

Both artists took our breath away in past events and we feel so privileged to have them back, in the same evening no less!

Remi is a spoken word artist.  His powerful, defiant, gut-punching poetry is profoundly human and it will break your heart at the same time that it provokes your own sense of power.  Farah Siraj’s ethereal voice is entrancing and enchanting in a way that will leave you haunted with a sense of unexpected, unknown beauty.

As if it couldn’t get any better, the evening will take place in the exquisite, gorgeous space of “Material Culture” in Philly.  Take a look at some pictures (1st four of the space, Remi, Farah):

Of course, we’ll also share the usual awesome Middle Eastern cuisine, silent auction, presentations, love, community, kid stuff, raffle, and more.

We will send more information as time nears.  For now, please mark your calendars for April 2nd.

Can’t wait to see you!

Love,

All of us at PfP

PS.  If you’ve visited our website recently, you’ll see that it hasn’t been updated in a while. We’re working on a whole new website that we will unveil in a few months.  We’re still an all volunteer organization and we’re working as hard and fast as we can.  Thank you for being patient with us.

My contribution makes me happy for the cause, and is inspired by my friends, Holly and Scudder, who are getting married.
